We are looking for a Category Sourcing Manager to lead our indirect sourcing activities in marketing and sales categories like media, creative agencies, marketing intelligence, POS & promotional material, and SOME. Colleagues from Paulig's central and regional marketing divisions will collaborate with you on projects. You further develop the indirect sourcing area's working methods while methodically boosting efficiency and cost savings. You will work with a fantastic team of individuals stationed in our locations across Europe—Finland, Belgium, Sweden, and Estonia—and report to the Head of Indirect Sourcing from either Helsinki, Finland, or Sweden (Mölndal or Stockholm).
Concerning the role:
Create and carry out plans and strategies for indirect categories in collaboration with the Paulig marketing organization's stakeholders. Make sure that the goods and services are consistently sourced at the most favorable prices, in accordance with the requirements, and at a high and consistent quality of service. Find and take use of cost-cutting measures. Negotiate, carry out, and assess agreements pertaining to lead time, cost, and payment terms. Comprehensive management of supplier relationships, including selection, execution, data management, contracting, risk management, development, and quality & sustainability. Monitor & benchmark market trends and best practices. About you:
You must have eight or more years of marketing sourcing expertise in a relevant business, ideally FMCG, as well as a track record of successfully managing a challenging indirect sourcing category and achieving cost and synergy reductions. Prior experience in a marketing field is strongly valued, or at the absolute least, a strong drive and ability to pick it up fast. a university degree in a relevant subject, such communication, marketing, or business. Excellent negotiating and problem-solving abilities, a strong capacity for forging strategic alliances, the capacity to work with ongoing improvement, and a sustainability attitude. Strong project management and leaderships skills. Inspiring, innovative and result oriented approach and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders. Fluent in English.
